AMANDINE ROBILLIARD,

cello & voice

Cellist Amandine Robilliard is driven by diversity and transmission. Her artistic personality is nourished by the multiplicity of encounters and universes. She graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in Roland Pidoux’s and Xavier Phillips’s class in 2011, and two years later obtained her Certificate of Aptitude to teach cello in the same institution. Since 2017 she has been developing a cultural mediation project based on the solo cello repertoire, Les Concerts présentés. She has performed several times in Paris with the Esperanz’arts organizations, in the cultural season of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional du Grand Chalon, in Montpellier, in Bergerac, at the Festival international du violoncelle de Beauvais … She regularly works in theaters, recently with Robin Renucci on the play Oblomov. She is currently beginning a collaboration with composer Jean-Baptiste Cognet for the music of his adaptation of the novel The Art of Joy by Goliarda Sapienza, directed by Ambre Kahan. She participates in the project Nous qui avions perdu le monde, a contemporary odyssey with a post-rock aesthetic based on texts by the writer Clément Bondu. A reguloar guest of the orchestra of the Opéra National de Paris, she is also active on the contemporary music scene, notably alongside Arnaud Rebotini. Her desire to pass on her knowledge has led her to carry out several collective cello practice projects for children in social or psychological difficulty. She currently teaches at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Gennevilliers.

MANON RUDANT,

illustration & video creation

Film editor, musician, director and visual artist Manon Rudant works based on several axes, all related to image. Her intimate sense of narration creates a balance between the reconstruction of reality and the affirmation of a more dreamlike look, nourished by her attachment to visual arts. The author of several short documentaries, she has also directed a feature-length documentary on the eponymous project “Orpheus XXI” conceived and directed by Jordi Savall within the framework of the European Commission’s programme, Europe Créative. As a fiction editor, notably working with Arnaud Mizzon and Sylvain Loscos, the films she has taken part in have won awards at numerous festivals in France and abroad. She has also worked with the production company Stone Angels (Pierre Ange Le Pogam).
In her own work, she particularly likes to use oil paint, and work with digital drawing, graphic design and animation tools. In 2013, she completed a training as a film and audiovisual technician at the ARFIS (Lyon). She masters editing software such as Final Cut, Pro 7, Avid Media Composer, and Davinci Resolve (color grading). From 1994 to 2008, she studied  cello at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de Chalon-sur-Saône. Like cinema and music, her practice of visual arts is anchored in her daily life and serve her work as an editor.
