"Madame Strohl, whose marvelous talent as a composer reveals itself to be surer and more powerful every day, is undoubtedly called to a luminous destiny."
(Edouard Moullé, « Madame R. Strohl », Revue éolienne, February 1900)

Rita Strohl is an atypical figure in the history of music. Attracted both by Wagner's universe and by symbolism, her compositions range from chamber music to grand symphonic or lyrical frescoes. This triple CD contains performances by a group of sixteen prestigious musicians. The second volume of a projected three-volume collection of the works of Rita Strohl, it is devoted to her chamber music, almost none of which has ever been recorded until now.
